IWSA's "Jitendra Mafatlal Mehta' Working Women's Hostel and
"Shree Mahalakshmi Temple Charities" Hostel Wing accommodate a total of
160 Working Women and girl students.

Lodging :
The hostel provides to the young hostelites a 'home away from home' with
modern facilities. There are
single, double, triple rooms and spacious dormitories which are
fully furnished;
there are an
adequate number of toilets and bathrooms.
Boarding : Mess package
provides breakfast, dinner, lunches on Sundays
and public holidays.
Hostel
has installed a solar water heating system; this ensures storage of hot
water
in the heaters, especially in the rainy season.
'Terrace Rain Water Harvesting System'
was
installed in 2006; the entire system is connected with
the municipal water tank. Separate drinking water tank for clean, safe drinking water through U.V. water filters and
coolers is available in the hostel.
After rain water harvesting the ongoing project of garden and kitchen waste
management has been doing well and is producing enough manure for our garden.
Hostel has also provided plenty of clothes-drying facilities on open-terraces as
well as passages.
A spacious recreation room with TV
connected to a cable network, big open playground where the girls can play
badminton or any other game for relaxation are added facilities.
Admission
Admission
is open to women/girls of ages 18 - 58 years. Working
women with a gross salary of Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 16,000/- p.m. are
eligible for accommodation.
Application forms can be collected from the hostel office between 9 a.m -12 p.m
& 4 p.m to 7 p.m on any working day (Mon - Sat).

Volunteers needed: IWSA needs dedicated volunteers to help out in the overall management of hostel. You may have to spare about one to two hours daily. The timings and routine could be arranged as per your convenience.
